Dual OOTD: Black and White: The Timeless Classic

Hey Guys! I've been trying to get a co-writer for the blog to represent men's fashion and it looks like I found one! Please welcome Cameron Jennings!

Let's kick this OOTD off!

Someone once told me, “If you don’t have anything to wear, wear black and white. It looks beautiful.” I believed her. Whether it’s movies, fashion, or photos, it’s just something about the contrast that is striking.

Here, I’m wearing a simple black top and a floral skirt. I like to have one part of my outfit that really pops and then accessorize it with other parts of my outfit. The flowers are so ladylike and the pleats in it gives my outfit movement. It’s really hard for me to match with my friends sometimes because I always have to add a pop of color. So if they say, “Let’s wear black and white,” I’ll undoubtedly sneak a different color into my outfit. In this photo I’m wearing a soft pink scarf and blush criss cross heels. Now this is how a woman who is striving to please God welcomes the spring.

The black suit is from my favorite store Suit Supply. This place is one of the best suit stores with the most unique style of the 1930's and 40's: Wide lapels, double-breasted and single-breasted. The shirt is from this website called Century 21 and the brand is Issac Mizrahi. I have always loved their material.

Gentlemen, if you're looking for a decent knitted tie at a really great price, eBay is the spot for ties, and other things as well.

Why black and white? The combination that never pass away. It stands out in its own unique way. Nothing too loud and nothing too dark. Just right. It has a conservative and meek tone. Usually you would see black and white during a wedding, but I don't only think those colors would be fit for a weddings or special occasions. It's fit for anywhere. Classy is the key. Mean and clean!
