Wear to Work (The Boys)

Monday

I love to wear a nice suit and tie to open up the week, because I feel like the week sets off everything: How you feel, how your day is gonna go, and just the environment that you're in. I also believe that when you go into work looking your best, you not only get the most compliments, but you also are looked at in a positive note, even if you aren’t able to perform a task given to you. You are treated with more respect. Always remember… “First impressions are everything.”

Tuesdays, I still would wear a suit because it's still pretty early in the week. There's a certain momentum that I like to keep going during the week, part of which is trying to wear brighter colors because it tends to keep my mood up even in the toughest of times. So I try my best to avoid black, brown, and dark or olive green.

Wednesdays are the changeover day for me so I go from being in a suit and tie to a vest, tie, and dress pants.

Thursdays, I keep my outfit casual with some khakis and a button up shirt with a jacket or without. This is more of a relaxed day for me, so I tend to match my outfit with my “IT’S ALMOST FRIDAY” mood.

Fridays are the best days for me. While most people may try to keep it as casual as possible, I tend to switch that around a little bit. I sometimes will dress casual, but then other times I may want to finish the week with something really sharp looking, so I won't wear a suit. I will do a mix and match with a tie and some nice leather shoes.

Ties: Burlington, K&G, gifted

Socks: A variety of stores. I try to get different patterns such as stripes, polka dots, diamonds, anchors, and circles.

I feel very good about myself when I support saints who have businesses. It's a good way to build relationships with them. I prefer to support the saints who have tie businesses because we don't have to worry about if the tie is modest or not.
