My Black Friday Experience

This was the first time I actively participated in Black Friday. I went to the movies and went shopping with a friend. While I had a great time, the traffic was horrendous. What should've been a quick two minute drive through the parking lot to see CREED II, turned into a nightmare as we slowly navigated through the it. After having to reschedule the movie time, we went to the mall to see what we could find. The sales were 20%-30%, which was slightly disappointing, but I did find some neat stuff!

LUSH

I walked into this small space overflowing with bath bombs and colorful soaps. The store smelled amazing! Their products are vegetarian and vegan, which impressed me. They also try to use as less waste as possible, so many products don't need a bag. If they give you a bag, it's 100% recyclable. The sales representatives were so friendly! The atmosphere was wonderful! My mom would say that she liked to get little things that would encourage her, such as sweet-smelling shower gel. I could tell she would've loved this place!

I smelled the Honey Trap lip balm before trying it. It has the consistency of a facial scrub, but for your lips! It has a fruity taste and instantly moisturized my lips. A sales representative told me that I could actually eat it if I wanted to. But I won't. Anyone that knows me knows I take lips balms very seriously and these ones are by far my favorite!

I also bought the Teo deodorant powder, which is a healthy alternative to regular deodorants that contain aluminum and propellants. It has a three part citrus smell! Love! Love! Love!

I was given a sample of the Aromaco bar, which when used eliminates the the microbes and odor-causing bacteria. The witch hazel in it does this! The chamomile vinegar in it tightens the pores. Then, the Greenwich powder goes on top of the application of the bar to soak up the moisture of the underarms and leave them smelling fresh!

Last, I was given a sample of the R&B hair moisturizer which smells AMAZING! It made my hair feel silky and smooth. Then, I tried the Queen Bee styling bar that has to be rubbed in the palms and adds a soft finish to the hair. I like the R&B more.

I go to this store for accessories. I picked up a cute winter hat for under $5 because of the 20% off everything sale.

I also bought a similar hat from H&M. It was about $12.99.

It's hard for me to tear my eyes away from anything in this eye-popping color. So I upgraded from a small yellow purse I had when I was a teenager to this bag.

I hadn't shopped here in years. I'm glad I went back because I found these awesome pair of boots from ARIZONA. They have the most comfortable heel and they're in one of my favorite colors for boots: Brown.

Culture Hijab

I had to get one more suede scarf in this beautiful cedar color! It reminds me of the color of salmon. I received a 20% off code early last Thursday because I subscribed to them!

Some tips that I learned:

1. Don't go shopping in stores on this day unless you really want to go with your friend somewhere. (In this case I did lol).
